The USA is the second largest country in North America, one of the leading world powers. The United States of America is very interesting state for the tourists. There are many architectural and cultural monuments, unique national parks and natural landscapes here. Visiting the USA you’ll gain an unforgettable impression for all life.
The most famous city of the country is not the capital Washington, but one of the largest financial centers in the world — New York city or "Big Apple".
New York is famous for its world's oldest skyscrapers, where offices of leading global companies, hotels and apartments are situated.
But Washington, the capital of the state, is much more interesting for the tourists than New York. The capital is different from other American cities because you do not meet here the usual for the US skyscrapers. However, despite the lack of skyscrapers, Washington remains attractive thanks to its museums and cultural institutions, in particular, National Gallery of Art, National Museum of American History, Library of Congress, National archives, Museum of air and space and others. Moreover, there are amazingly beautiful churches in Washington: the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and St. Nicholas Cathedral.
The other American cities have also their sights. Though, special attention deserve not the cities of the USA but unique natural landscapes and national parks: Grand Canyon, Yellowstone preserve, Death Valley, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, exotic nature of the Hawaiian Islands and Miami, Misty Fjords, and many others, which attract nature lovers from all over the world.
Hotels in the USA are classified somewhat differently than in the rest of the world. So, the hotels have the following rating: Deluxe (5 stars), Superior Deluxe (4+), Superior First Class (4 and 3+), First Class (3), Tourist Class (1-2). In most American hotels the tourists are provided with the spacious bright rooms and large beds.
The country has the largest hotel networks in the world. This is because almost all of them are created and managed by Americans. Also, those who prefer budget vacation can stay in small motels, campgrounds, cottages and mini-hotels "B&B" (Bed and Breakfast).
